The 14-year-old Chinese sensation Tianlang Guan made his second straight professional cut today at the Zurich Classic. Guan exceeded all expectations when he made the cut earlier this month at The Masters, earning low-amateur honors. Guan defied the odds again Friday carding a second round 69(-3) to make the PGA Tour’s Zurich Classic. “Langly”, as he likes to be called averages just 260 yards off the tee, but his precision wood play and a deft touch around the greens allow him to score well on any course. It is extremely impressive to watch Tianlang play. Amateur golfers could learn a great deal from watching him play. Guan manages his game very well and finds a way to score.
